Along with the development of the exploration,the drilling becomes deeper and deeper,the bottom of a well working environment becomes complex,severe bit wear consumption and frequent tripping become the problems to be solved,so the demand for long bit life is becoming more and more urgent.Brazing diamond bit has realized the interface connection of chemical bond,enhances the tire body holding force to diamond,fundamentally improve the performance and working life,the use of diamond bit has the extremely broad prospect of application.In order to promote research of the long life brazing diamond bit,and accelerate its industrial application,this paper around the brazing diamond bit has carried out a series of research work,the main contents are as follows:(1)The sample of ordinary sintered bit and brazed bit is selected as test objects to carry out the airflow spray sand erosion test and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)test.Compared with ordinary sintering bit,brazed bit adopts low wear resistant carcass material with high concentration diamond.In addition,brazed bit realizes the chemical bond between matrix and diamond.The brazing seam width is much smaller than the ordinary sintered bit,demonstratingthe advantage of the brazed bit.(2)According to the working characteristics of diamond bit,cracking rock with the single particle diamond is analyzed theoretically.According to the distribution law of diamond on the lip of bit,the formula of the uniform pressure and the cutting force of single diamond is obtained.(3)On the basis of micro drilling test,combining previous research results,simplified single diamond cutting model has been obtained.The diamond cutting process is simulated by using LS-DYNA software,and the drilling law under different drilling pressure and rotating speed is obtained.The restart analysis was used to study the response of a repeated cutting,the mechanism of diamond cutting rocks were further analyzed.
