With the rapid development of remote sensing detection technology and image processing technology,using remote sensing to obtain the zoning information of mineralized alteration has a great significance for regional prospecting prediction.Based on the characteristics of mineral spectra,using the main data of ASTER and OLI and the supplement data of Hyperion and MODIS the alteration characteristics of Qulong deposit is studied.Then,the remote sensing mineral alteration extraction is carried out in the shallow cover area of the eastern Gangdese metallogenic belt,which divides the alteration zoning in the study area and provides important remote sensing technology support for regional prospecting.The main results achieved are as follows:(1)The spectral characteristics of typical objects are studied,and the spectral responses of ASTER and OLI data of different minerals and different alterations are analyzed.(2)The NDVI of the study area is calculated based on MODIS data,and the interference problem of remote vegetation alteration information extraction is studied.(3)According to the spectral characteristics of typical features,combined with the results of MNF and PPI,it is proved that the four kinds of objects such as snow,water,vegetation and bare rock are separable.By comparing the results of Hyperion data and ASTER,OLI data and the alteration zoning,the remote sensing extraction results are consistent with the characteristics of the alteration zonation from field investigaions,which indicates that the hyperspectral endmember extraction method is used for multispectral data feasible.(4)The extraction results of ASTER and OLI alteration minerals(combination)show that the concentration of each mineral(combination)in the eastern section of Gangdise metallogenic belt is obvious.And the four alteration zones are delineated in the study area,and the alteration zonation of the alteration zones are better,which mainly show the alteration zonation pattern of Phyllic zone-Argillic zone-Propylitic zone and consist with the typical “monzonite” model of alteration zones of porphyry copper deposit.
