With the progress of science and technology,two-dimensional measurement results can not meet the development needs,people gradually began to study the results of three-dimensional measurement.3D Laser Scanning Technology is a new breakthrough after GPS surveying and mapping technology,it is a non-contact measurement method,with high efficiency,high precision measurement,.3D Laser Scanning Technology have been widely used in the topographic mapping,building three-dimensional,reverse engineering,cultural relics protection,geological disaster management and other fields.Relative to the rapid development of data collection methods,point cloud data processing technology development is relatively slow.It is urgent to adopt a set of effective,fast and highly automated data processing methods to promote the development of 3D laser Scanning echnology,so that this technology in the production and life to be more widely used.This paper analyzes the present situation of 3D laser Scanning technology and point cloud data processing,and introduces its principle,characteristics and application fields,and expounds the principle of point cloud data stitching.The advantages and disadvantages of the four splicing methods are compared,And analyzed the error sources of the coordinates of the monitoring points of four different splicing methods.In view of the fact that point cloud data filtering is at the core of point cloud data processing,this paper introduces several common point cloud data filtering methods.Based on the regional growth progressive encryption triangulation method and the noise removal function based on Geomagic Studio software,the two methods are compared by qualitative and quantitative methods.The 3D laser scanning technique is used to scan a large area landslide body to obtain high precision point cloud data,and the point cloud data is spliced by using the three-dimensional coordinates of the control point.And then use the regional growth progressive encryption triangulation method to complete the point cloud filtering process,and finally the filtered point cloud through the data compression can be used directly to build the three-dimensional model of point cloud data.The three-dimensional model of the landslide body is constructed by NURBS surface,and the accuracy of the model is verified by the "deviation analysis" with the original point cloud.The high-precision 3D model can not only be used for the deformation monitoring of the whole surface of the landslide,but also for the assessment of geological disasters.Therefore,it is of great significance for the study of 3D laser technology.
