Distribution of geochemical elements is very complicated,not only with linear relationship to describe,such as deposits and various ore controlling factors are generally non-linear relationship,the traditional theory can not solve nonlinear problems in metallogenic prediction involves comprehensively and accurately.The essence of fractal is to describe the power law relation between things,and different power law relations have specific fractal dimension.The content of elements in regional strata is a function of time and space,the geochemical background values of the elements and the formation of the abnormal values have their own characteristics,which shows that the formation of the anomaly has its own power law relationship,that is,the fractal dimension is independent.Therefore,the fractal method to describe the formation of geochemical anomalies is scientific.The traditional method of processing geochemical data is the premise of the need to eliminate extreme points does not conform to the normal distribution,but the distribution of the elements is formed by various factors,the distribution of each element has its own unique rules,the sample data can not really reflect the distribution of the element itself,but the content area fractal method does not need to remove the sample data,it will not break the distribution of the element itself.Therefore,the content area fractal method can make up for the shortcomings of traditional statistical methods in geochemical data processing,which can not meet the normal distribution of extreme points.The fractal theory is applied to the geochemical data processing of the Yifeng Jiangxi mining area,which provides an accurate prospecting target for the next step construction of the mining area.We do a multivariate statistical analysis of geochemical data,discusses the relationship between the W element and other elements,based on it,with the traditional method and fractal method processing of geochemical data,comparative analysis of lower limit of abnormity,choose reasonable lower limit of abnormity,using MAPGIS and Surfer professional graphics software rendering of geochemical anomaly map and combined evaluation map,combined with geological characteristics and prospecting target areas are delineated.Through the above research,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Through multivariate statistical analysis of the measured results of geochemical data,the correlation analysis showed that only Au and W elements were positively related,which indicates that there is a correlation between Au and W elements,the enrichment of Au elements indicating W enrichment to a certain extent.Cluster analysis shows that when the distance coefficient d=5,only Au,Nb,Cu form a combination of other elements do not show correlation.The target element W is shown to be independent of a single class.Through factor analysis,it is clear that there is a close relationship between W and Au,and the results are consistent with the correlation analysis.(2)The geochemical data were processed by traditional method and fractal method,the results show that the lower limit of abnormity for the element with higher content in the working area is higher than that obtained by the traditional statistical method,the lower limit of abnormity for the element with lower working area is lower than that obtained by traditional statistical method,because the fractal method of content area does not elimination data that obey the normal distribution of high value and low value,it can further delineate the abnormal range in high anomaly area and extremely sensitive to identify the weak and abnormal in weak differentiation recognition,making up for the shortcomings and deficiencies of traditional methods(3)By comparing the single element anomaly map,showing Au,W,Pb and Zn anomalies well nested relations in NW faults,these four elements have a good concentration zoning phenomenon in the vicinity of the fault,and the results of the investigation have also found the tungsten mineralization occurs in the fault,which indicates that the fault has great potential and good prospect for prospecting tungsten deposit.(4)By making a combination of anomaly map,according to the combination of elements and existing exploration results,initially given two key target areas: one is the area of NW trending faults in the northwest corner of the AP1 zone,the concentration center of Au,Cu,Pb,Zn,W,Mo six elements overlap better,the anomaly scale is large,so the periphery of the fault is the key target of tungsten deposit;two is the southeast corner of mining area is AP2,w abnormal large output in here,shows three abnormal concentration zoning,and according to the W anomaly of morphology and W output conditions can be speculated that there is a NW trending deep fault in the region,it indicates that the prospect of tungsten ore is good,the anormaly area should be verificated by engineering,guiding the further prospecting mission.
