The submarine collet connector test device is based on the national science and technology major "deepwater engineering major equipment and engineering techniques"sub-project "deepwater subsea production facilities manufacturing, testing equipment and technology" research and development of special-purpose measuring devices.The main purpose of this project is to develop a vibration testing device for subsea connector, this device can conduct a vibration test of two degrees of freedom in both radial movement and axis movement by simulating working condition of the subsea connector apply. The development of vibration testing device for subsea connector, which strengthens our independent development ability in ocean engineering equipment,helps us get rid of the dependence on overseas related technology and boosts up our strength in ocean engineering development.The receiving environment of the subsea connector contains wave, ice and seismic load,etc. And the main load among all of these is caused by the ocean wave and current which can create vortex-induced vibration of pipeline. The subsea connector, as the connection hinge of ocean engineering wellhead equipment, appears a vibration from crossover pipeline. This paper investigates the sea state of the subsea connector,including physical properties such as velocity, viscosity, density and the seawater temperature and combines classical theories related to vortex-induced vibration, fluid mechanics, mechanics of materials and ocean engineering, and then concludes amplitude and frequency of vibration through the vibration analysis about subsea connector.The key technical indicator of the subsea connector testing device has been basically defined by the vibration analysis about subsea connector,and the hydraulic vibration is chosen as the type of this device. Besides, based on the basic requirements determined by the subsea connector testing device,general scheme of the mechanical,hydraulic and control system of it has been drafted.The general scheme of the subsea connector testing device has a detailed design about mechanical system,which includes the analysis load that subsea connector can endure,the design of structure based on the load characteristic, the three-dimensional model of mechanical system built by UG NX8.0 and the AnalysisThe hydraulic servo control system is studied and designed according to general scheme of the testing device, and work out the principle diagram of the hydraulic servo system.Calculate the parameter of hydraulic servo system and select components according to mechanical design manual, hydraulic transmission and the knowledge of hydraulic control.The hydraulic servo system is modeled and simulated by using AMESim, simulating the actual situation of connector at a specified frequency,amplitude of vibration test and concluded that the hydraulic system work related curve.
