Ground fissure is a macroscopic failure phenomenon that fissures and deformations formed in the surface rock and soil mass.With the continuous expansion of the scope of human engineering activities and the incremental of the intensity of human activities,ground fissure hazards become more and more prominent.Especially the utilization of groundwater resources and the gradual increasing of the depth of foundation pit dewatering during the construction of a project,which greatly exacerbated the ground subsidence disaster and the development of ground fissures.Zhengzhou City,Hongming road ground fissure approximately appears in 2011,and develops up to now,poseing a threat to the safe operation of Metro Line 2,also being a hidden trouble for municipal pipeline facilitieswhich are underground and buildings along the ground fissures.In this paper,the Hongming Road ground fissure is the research object;through investigation and interview,field survey,using surveying and mapping,drilling and other technical means,characteristics of ground fissure are about to summed up;by collecting the data of geology and human activities near Hongming Road,combined with the existing survey data,the relationship between geological structure,exploitation of groundwater,formation lithology and ground fissures are about to be revealed the main controlling factors of Hongming Road ground fissure;through the numerical simulation analysis,the formation mechanism of the Hongming Road ground fissure is finally put forward.The main research work and achievements are as follows.(1)On the basis of field investigation and interview,the plane configuration and activity characteristics of Hongming Road ground fissure were found by means of surveying and drilling.(2)Through the collection of regional geological data,human activities data,combined with the theory of the causes of ground fissures and geotechnical engineering survey data,analyzing the role of geological structure,hydrogeological conditions,formation lithology,human exploitation of groundwater and so on in the process of formation,and the results show that the characteristics of Hongming ground fissures are controlled by the soft soil and the ultrahigh layer groundwater drawdown funnel,and formed by superposition of each aquifer group under the condition of precipitation.(3)The shallow geological model and the deep geological model are established by numerical simulation software,and the simulation results are obtained according to the relevant data,and the results are in good agreement with the actual situation.(4)On the basis of the above research results,the formation mechanism of Hongming Road ground fissure is put forward.
