Jurassic ofNorthern Junggar basin in the eastern mound Kang Dong band(here in after referred to as the fubei region)are mainly lake delta sedimentary system,the Toutunhe Formation ofJurassic has become one of the most important exploration strata in xinjiang oil fieldin recent years,has received the widespread attention.While many scholars of zhungaer basin,the Jurassic sedimentary facies source and won more understanding,but most of these knowledge,based on the whole in junggar basin,and horizon mainly concentrated in Sangonghe Formation and Badaowan Formation,denudation serious head for tuen mun provenance analysis is less,in view ofprovenance research in Toutunhe FormationtheJurassic of Fukang region is less more.In this paper,on the basis of predecessors research results,combined with the drilling core observation,and use of sandstone detrital component quantitative statistical analysis,cathodoluminescence,heavy mineral combination and its index analysis,trace elements and rare earth elements sedimentary geochemical analysis,sedimentary characteristics of integrated research in Toutunhe Formation in Fubei region,trying to figure out the main source direction of Toutunhe Formation,the parent rock properties and provenance tectonic background,to deepen the geological understanding in the region and support the step under the guidance of oil and gas exploration.On the basis of field outcrops and drilling core,logging and seismic data,a comprehensive analysis thatthe northtern Fubei region Toutunhe formation in Eastern Junggar Basinbelongs to the braided river delta sedimentary facies,and divided into delta plain,delta front and front delta facies and sedimentary microfacies in the 11 classes,sedimentary sequence presentsa thick-thin-thickchange trend.Plane distribution of sedimentary facies belt is from the north east to the south west from braided river delta to lake sedimentation law of evolution.sandstoneofthe Toutunhe formation ofmiddle jurassic seriesin Fubei region mainly feldspar lithic sandstone,Toutunhe formationfollowed by lithic sandstone,clastic composition of quartz is mainly composed of single crystal quartz,and part of the metamorphic quartz debris and flint cuttings of sedimentary rocks;Feldspar is given priority to with potassium feldspar and plagioclase is less;Magmatic rock cuttings with felsite,basalt and andesite extrusive rock cuttings is given priority to,metamorphic rock cuttings is given priority to with phyllite,a small amount of schist cuttings,sedimentary rock cuttings are mainly composed of mudstone debris and mica.Heavy mineral assemblages,Dickinson clastic components bit map,cathodolum-inescence of quartz and trace elements and rare earth elements deposit geochemistry,according to the results of the Toutunhe Formation of source direction is likely from the east to the north,most likely came from the north east kalameilimountainsource area,thesource rocksare mainly composed of intermediate-acid magmatic rocks;tectonicsetting of Toutunhe Formationsource area mainly magmatic arc tectonic background,mainly in transition arc and island arc cutting area,and contain volcanic debris and volcanic-deep into lithic sandstone composition;Tectonic environment mainly belong to passive continental edge(arc)and oceanic island arc source area tectonic setting.
