Gao Yan manganese deposit is located in a narrow Paleozoic massif between the Wulong-Pingba fault belt which belongs to the frontal imbricated fault fold belt of norther Daba Mountain nappe structure.The geology tectonic is extremely complex consist by a series of linear fold and thrust nappe fault form double fold.Gao Yan manganese ore-bearing horizon is Doushantuo?Toushantou?Fm,which is a set of tidal-flat facies-stranded bay facies sedimentation and the lithology is mainly composed of interbedded sandstone,shale,black carbonaceous shale,ore layer.Ore bodies developed in the the top of Doushantuo Formation?Z1d?Which is shallow sea facies sedimentary dialogite deposits and the ore body in the stratified or stratoid,stable but often repeat or lost because of faults.Gao Yan manganese deposit has been mined from 1958,when the deposit was discovered,to today.Its stock of manganese ore mining can only keep 6 to 7 years,according to the current exploiting speed.It has become a moderate crisis mines.Seek new manganese ore resources is imminentOn the basis of existing geological data and field investigation,the research sum up the district manganese metallogenic regularities in the study area,To deepen the understanding of Gao Yan manganese ore bed geological characteristics.Fully using Surpac software in function of geological 3d valuation model,grade model,etc,combined with Gao Yan manganese deposit geological features.According to the principle and operation method of Surpac software,it constructes a ore block of Gao Yan area ore body 3 d model,and constructes grade the grade of the valuation model,based on this model.Combined with the metallogenic conditions,deposit characteristics,orebody shape,orebody in grade distribution,it prospects Gao Yan manganese deposit location prediction evaluation,and selects three favorable prospecting area,according to the digital deposit-spatial analysis methods.
