Taxonomic Study On Eriophyoid Mites(Acari:Eriophyoidea) Of Some Common Plant In North And Centrallaos

The area of Southeast Asia is one of the hotspots of biodiversity,however,the taxonomic research of eriophyoid mites are uneven among the countries.Up to date,although Laos is one of the richest biodiversity areas of Southeast Asia,no any eriophyoid mites species has been reported.In this thesis,one genera and eight species collected from common plant in Laos,were described and illustrated.New genus:Namengella gen.nov..New species:Diptiloplatus arundinis sp.nov.;Chiangmaia monopetala sp.nov.;Vimola saracae sp.nov.;Pararhynacus glutinosae sp.nov.;Acaihis tomentus sp.nov.;Namengella latiflorusa gen.nov.&sp.nov.;Petanovicia catharticum sp.nov.;Shevtchenkella calliandrae sp.nov..All type specimens are deposited in the Department of Plant Protection,Agricultural College,Guangxi University.
