Discovery of the separates oil and gas seepage within the Mesozoic and Paleozoic m arine sequence in Huangqiao area during the past 50 years, indicate the procession of the hydrocarbon generation, migration, accumulation.Although it has the geological conditio n of large-Middle petroleum reservoir, important exploration have not yet done, becauseo f the perplexed understanding between the tectonic evolution and hydrocarbon migration.Based on the comprehensive interpretation of the seismic data of the Huangqiao area, the Lower Yangtze Basin,we try to rebuild a Mesozoic sedimentary basin combine several methods, and identify the unconformity boundary to analyze the distribution of the underlays. To predicting the fracture cave characteristics of Indonesian unconformity beneath the main purpose layers, properties and characteristics of seismic profiles and drilling data should be fully used.Regard Indonesian-Himalayan tectonic action as the main influence of tectonic to analyze the reservoir forming condition. On the basis of the structural map of the sedimentary thickness of the Mesozoic and the Tertiary, residual thickness, structure maps of the Indonesian,Pre-Indonesian,and Late cretaceous, and Late Himalayan period. We indicate that the accumulated hydrocarbon during the late period migrate along the axis of the structural nose, based on the above maps and methods.
