| So far,the exploratory degree in Badin area of Pakistan are still lower.Additionally,the understandings of hydrocarbon accumulation regularity can not effectively guide the oil and gas exploration.By using drilling,seismic,logging,and various analysis of test data,based on the integrated use of petroleum geology,geochemistry,geophysics and other multi-disciplinary knowledge,guided by ideas and methods of the petroleum system,oil and gas enrichment regularity in Badin area of Pakistan are investigated systematically studies are listed as follows:1)Based on the analysis of six typical oil-gas fields in the Badin area,the type of oil-gas pool,the oil-gas properties and reservoir-caprock association are identified.2)The key problems in Badin area of Pakistan are figured out such as organic geochemistry characteristicof source rocks and oil source correlation.3)Combined with the analysis of the typical reservoirs,not only the main controlling factors of hydrocarbon accumulation,but also the distribution pattern of oil and gas are summarized.4)According to the relation between source rocks and reservoirs in Badin area of Pakistan,four sets of petroleum system are established including Sembar-Upper Sand petroleum system,Sembar-Middle Sand petroleum system,Sembar-Basal Sand petroleum system and Sembar-Chiltan petroleum system.5)Hydrocarbon accumulation process is rebuilt and characterized by the well match on time among the faulting process,traps forming and hydrocarbon generation peak,which show extremely advantageous oil-gas accumulation conditions in the Badin area.6)Based on the analysis of oil and gas accumulation process and petroleum system characteristic,the favorable trap area and resource of oil and gas traps are carefully estimated.Main conclusions could be not only important practical significant to the deployment of oil and gas exploration and the evaluation of potentiality,but also enrich the hydrocarbon accumulation theory and preview in Badin area of Pakistan. |
