The Gan-hang metallogenic belt is one of the major uranium metallogenic belts in China,and its uranium deposits are long and wide in scope.The uranium metallogenic belt forms 8 uranium mineralization concentrated areas and 53 uranium deposits from west to east.The Egongshan volcanic basin is one of the eight uranium mineralization concentrated areas,and it is also a volcanic basin with key investigation and evaluation.The project team selected a low degree of work,mineralization point of dense output of the Egongshan volcano basin in the middle-eastern part,carried out 1: 50000 ground gamma spectrometry(376km2).In this paper,the Egongshan volcano basin as the research object,based on the metallogenic background of uranium,the uranium metallogenic geological environment,ore-controlling and ore-controlling structure characteristics of the three uranium deposits and uranium mineralization sites in the basin are analyzed.The contents of uranium,thorium and potassium in the region,the characteristics of field halo distribution,the controlling factors and the relationship with uranium mineralization were analyzed by analyzing the data of ground gamma spectrometry in the study area.Then the factor analysis method was used to divide the study area into 188 units with 2km2 as a unit,and the mean value and mean square error of uranium,thorium,potassium and its characteristic parameters were calculated.The correlation matrix was established and analyzed.The uranium source factor and mineralization factor score of each unit were calculated,and the equivalence map of uranium source factor and mineralization factor in the region were delineated to extract the multiple information related to uranium mineralization.Based on the comparative analysis of the units in the known deposits,the potential favorable uranium mineralization units are deduced,and Huangchaozhai and Wangjia are selected as favorable uranium mineralization sites.On the two places with uranium mineralization potential,carried out a more fine,large scale(1: 10000)ground gamma spectrometry,investigated and studied the radioactive elements halo distribution and control factors and the spatial relationship with the uranium mineralization point in Huangchaozhai and Wangjia.Determined four prospecting target area,and the uranium mineralization potential were analyzed and studied.
