With the improvement of economy and comprehensive national strength,the scale of China's power grid construction has leapt to the world's first.At present,most of the data acquisition methods of the construction of electric transmission line mainly rely on satellite remote sensing and conventional aerial photogrammetry technology,which cannot meet the needs of rapid development of power grid construction.Because the use of satellite remote sensing is limited by its revisit cycle,images with high resolution of the ground cannot be obtained timely and effectively,and the poor ability of work in real-time also made it difficult to meet the requirements of the short construction period of small-scale electric transmission lines.While the conventional aerial photogrammetry is free from the influence of time and satellite orbit,it cannot carry out the aviation operations timely for the sake of the worker's safety under bad weather conditions.Besides,the air traffic restrictions and the complexity of airspace applications also leads to higher aviation costs and longer working hours.Unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)is a new type of photogrammetry technology,which involved techniques of remote sensing platform and ground-based mapping and has developed rapidly in recent years,effectively made up for the shortcomings of traditional aerial photogrammetry.Image data of the ground with high resolutions and topographic map with large scale can be obtained in a short time,which provided clear and accurate information for the design of electric transmission lines.Images of the measured area and DEM data can be obtained by utilizing UAV data processing software,and lots of field work and project cost as well as influence to the environment can be reduced by carry out the process of three dimensional modeling and optimization of line selection in 3D optimization line selection system.In this paper,the development status of UAV data processing software at home and abroad is analyzed in detail and the methods of applying UAV to electric transmission line is also expatiated.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The principle of UAV's optical load is analyzed from the view of remote sensing technology,the process and technology of aerial photography are also summarized.(2)The quality evaluation,preprocessing,aero triangulation and matching algorithm for UAV image processing are discussed.(3)The idea of the design of 3D optimization route selection platform is introduced,and some key technologies of module function are also analyzed and realized.The focus is on the creation of large scene 3D models.The focus is on the creation of large scene 3D models.(4)Combined with my work on route selection in path optimization of actual electric transmission line project,and utilizing the introduced method of UAV mapping technology in route optimization of transmission line,large scale topographic map data of 1:2000 is obtained,which provided the data base for route selection.The 3D model of the large scene is built by using the three-dimensional platform of optimal path selection,the three-dimensional environment of path optimization is established and the three dimensional roaming inspection of the results of route selection is carried out.The practicability of the three-dimensional platform of path optimization and the feasibility of the UAV to replace the traditional aerial photogrammetry as the electric transmission line construction are verified.
