Based On ACCESS Database Design And Realization Of The Geological Survery In Loess Cover Area In Baoji,Shanxi Province

As the constantly improvement of information technology in many areas around the world,it is particularly important to bring new electronic management into the traditional discipline,where the field of geography is no exception.The development of geology has a long history,a vast amount of the original geological data have been accumulated over a long period.The types of raw data is complex,types related to maps?text?photos?reports and so on.Based on the database and the design of database system,the information management and maintenance of data can be completed,which greatly improve the efficiency of the use of the data,so as to achieve the full use of the data,data sharing and permanent archiving.Relying on the database established topic in “the 1:50000 loess covered area experimental mapping project in Caobizhen?Liangting?Zhaoxian?Qianyang?Fengxiang?Yaojiagou,Shaanxi Province”,using access2007 database as a plat form to build,the characteristics of different types of geological data in the project area have been analyzed and summarized,a set of automatic management system of geological original data have been developed to meet the demand of the project team to fast and conveniently management and access to the field data.The major achievements of this paper are:1?The database which based on access2007 has been set up.The underlying structure of the database,the data sheet that carrying the data,human-computer information interface and the secure login system have been designed.2?The automatic management of geological raw materials has been initially achieved to provide intuitive human-computer interaction interface,which greatly improved the project team staff indoor processing efficiency and to achieve quick data query and sharing.3?Based on the construction of a geological basis database,especially according to the unique loess accumulation and lower stratigraphic situation in this area,the database and stratigraphic database of the loess profile in this area are set up with inputting part of the loess profiles and strata information,Which provides intuitive comparison data for the establishment of the Quaternary mapping.
