Tide measurement is a virtual characteristic element in the ocean research filed.Therefore,tide surveying is widely applied in military and civil constructions.The measurement technology development is of great significance for the exploration and exploitation of offshore petroleum resources.In this paper,methods and techniques of traditional tide surveying is firstly introduced,and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of traditional tidal measurement.The theory of GPS tide surveying is introduced,in which the application,data processing and the advantages and disadvantages of GPS tide surveying.Then,focused on the tide measurement method,basic procedure and operation method Based PPP with IGS ultra rapid ephemeris and clock offset,the accuracy of GPS PPP tide surveying is analyzed based on examples of experiments and projects.Finally,preliminary exploration of the real time or near-real-time tidal surveying method.Based on kinematic Precise Point Positioning(PPP)technology and self-developed PPP software,this paper carried out a tidal level measurement test.Using IGU ephemeris and satellite clock offset,the precision of oceanic GPS tidal level measurement is analyzed.Compared with the traditional RTK tidal level measurement,the precision of oceanic PPP tidal level measurement is better than 0.20 meters which could satisfy the accuracy requirement on tidal data in oceanic OBC seismic exploration.PPP tidal level measurement with IGU ephemeris and satellite clock offset has shorter delay and better application of meeting the timeliness requirements on oceanic tidal data.By applications of practical production in Fushan Hainan project,Kenli 11-12 zone project and Caofeidian 22-23 zone project,PPP tidal level measurement with IGU ephemeris and satellite clock offset has been proven further its feasibility.
