The geological model of the wave field forward calculation can simulate seismic waves in the ground of the transmission medium in order to identify the characteristics of seismic records of geological body.We start from the concept of viscoelastic medium,then to deduce viscoelastic wave equation,and use a staggered grid high-order finite difference method to solve viscoelastic medium speed-stress equations,and introduce the characteristics of seismic source.In the direction of the seismic exploration,people have to solve problems involves large-scale complex calculations,in order to improve the computation efficiency and speed,we use OpenMP combine with forward modeling method to do parallel processing.In this paper,we mainly discusses the numerical simulation of viscoelastic staggered grid high-order finite difference method wave equation,and realizes parallel computing that based on OpenMP parallel technology.The main results include: We uses stress-speed equation and second order time eight order space finite difference method to simulate the two-dimensional viscoelastic medium model slope borehole observation system of each shot to the receiver in the horizontal component seismic records and vertical component seismic records.And,we uses two kinds of observation system modeling,VSP and inverse VSP.The numerical simulation can get the horizontal component and vertical component snapshots,horizontal component and vertical component seismic records,and we compared numerical simulation results from two observation system modeling numerical simulation.Then,we introduced and illustrated the parallel technology,mainly carried on the deep understanding to OpenMP,and introduced and comprehended the parallel model and parallel method.We can realized the viscoelastic wave equation numerical simulation that based on OpenMP parallel,it adopted the point's tasks in parallel mode,and greatly reduce the computing time.The operation with different number of threads,the more the number of threads,the higher the performance of the parallel,and the longer the serial operation time,the higher the efficiency of the parallel computing.
