This paper analyses the metallogenic geological characteristics of the Baishiquan Cu-Ni ore through a large number of field geological investigations.On the basis of a large number of major and trace elements,the ore-forming process of the deposit is discussed from the aspects of magma property,source area,the formation mechanism of saturated sulfur and the separation and crystallization.The following are the main understandings of the genesis of ore bodies and the prediction of ore bodies by modern geophysical methods.1.The Baishiquan is based on the main ore bearing rock mass of the Cu-Ni deposit,which is divided into the early emplacement of the Diorite-quartz diorite facies,Gabbro phase,gabbronorite facies,and the late emplacement of the amphibolite facies,peridotite facies,olivite facies and pyroxene facies.The contact interface is obvious,and the contact is gradually changed.2.The orebodies are mostly lenticular,like lamellar,pulse and branching.The ore bearing rocks are mainly vein basic ultrabasic rocks,mainly dominated by eclogites,pyroxenite,peridotite,gabbro and norite-gabbro diorite.The surrounding rocks are mainly gabbro,pyroxenite and granite gneiss.The upper part of the ore body is mainly disseminated and sponge iron meteorite ores.There are penetrated vein and lump ores in the middle,bottom and bottom rocks.3.Through the study of the geochemical characteristics of the main,trace and rare earth elements,it is indicated that the Baishiquan rock mass is a high basaltic magma with the differentiation trend of the pluton basaltic rock spring.The enrichment of large ion stone elements(Sr,Rb,Ba)and the relative loss of high field and strong elements(Nb,Zr)indicate that the mantle source area may be metasomatism in dehydration of subducted plates.The total content of rare earth elements REE is 26.95~147.84.The normalized distribution curve of the rare earth element chondrite is a light rare earth enrichment type,and the rare earth element of the complex rock mass is very similar.It shows that it comes from the same source area and is the product of the differentiation and evolution of the same primitive magma.The saturation of sulfide is probably caused by a large number of crystals containing Fe and Mg minerals.The crustal mixing is very weak.Combined with a large number of previous research results,the Baishiquan rock mass is 281-286 Ma,which is basically consistent with the similar ore deposits in the region of Xiangshan,Hulu,Huangshandong,and the complex zone,which may be formed in a large-scale slow source magma intrusion in the Permian.The Bai Shiquan complex formed in the end of the Late Paleozoic extensional tectonic setting during late collisional orogeny.4.The main development of the magma is the deep lava penetration nickel sulfide deposit,which is mainly disseminated and distributed in the upper part of the ore body and tastes better.The slurry penetration nickel sulfide deposit is developed in the lower part of the ore body or the structural fracture zone and the surrounding rock.On the basis of summarizing the geological prospecting marks in the mining area,the heavy and magnetic anomalies have the characteristics that the heavy and magnetic anomalies have gradually contracted to the southwestern direction,and the high magnetic and high gravity anomalies under the covering of the southwest of the mining area are the main channels of the basic ultrabasic rock upwelling in this area.In the ore body,the eastern part of No.8 rock mass and the deep rock of No.9 rock mass are very obvious.
