The three-dimensional geological model visualization technology can simulate the spatial form of geological entity,break the limitation of two-dimensional graph model.It is widely applied in engineering,geology,mine and other fields with the characteristics of intuitive image and rich functions.But at present,there are few dynamic modeling tools based on time series.Based on the discussion of three-dimensional geological modeling method,the three-dimensional dynamic geological visualization system is developed independently in this paper.The results achieved are as follows:(1)After selecting the suitable three-dimensional geological modeling method,building the reasonable modeling process,and determing the development platform,the system architecture of the three-dimensional dynamic geological model visualization system is designed.(2)The three-dimensional dynamic geological model visualization system is developed by using the Interactive Data Language(IDL).The system can realize the model establishment,spatial display,dynamic analysis and data management of geohazard such as debris flow and landslide.The system has the following characteristics.It has surface modeling and voxel modeling capabilities and the surface modeling display is rich and varied.In the voxel modeling module,a brand-new voxel generating scheme is adopted to make it more precise and convenient.An excellent dynamic display module is integrated in the system.It has preliminary data pre-processing capabilities,and the data interface of FLAC3 D and MIDAS.(3)The single stratum modeling,multi stratum modeling and dynamic display ability of the three-dimensional dynamic geological model visualization system are tested,and the function of each module of the system is verified.
