The falling zone refers to the periodic rise and fall of the water level in the area where the area is exposed periodically on the surface of the water. The geological disasters in the Wushan section of the Three Gorges Reservoir area are more frequent after the dam is impounded, and the understanding and research of the falling zones are insufficient at present. The comprehensive investigation and study of the falling zone in Wushan County,Chongqing, and the analysis of the spatial characteristics of the topographic change in this section can provide both basic data and reference information for the prevention and control of geological hazards and the protection of geological environment in the reservoir area, and the safe operation of the Yangtze River channel in Chongqing and the life of the people in the reservoir area. The property is safe.In this paper, the types of the bank slope in the Wushan section of the Three Gorges Reservoir area are systematically classified, and the spatial distribution of the geological disasters and the background of the development of the geological disasters are found out after the reservoir is stored normally. The four types of landform changes in the reservoir bank of the Wushan section of the Three Gorges Reservoir area are summed up,which are three types of erosion-erosion-erosion type, dissolution erosion type, collapse type and holistic slip type,or their combination mode. The intensity evaluation of the topography change of the reservoir bank in the Wushan section has been realized, providing basic data for the prevention and control of geological disasters in the fluctuating zone.According to the survey of remote sensing and the results of field investigation,it is found that the Wushan section of the Wushan section of the Three Gorges Reservoir area can be divided into 188 sections according to the types of bank slope, with a total length of about 270 km and a total area of about 7.974km2.110 sections of rock slope, length 161.87 km,area 4.128km2;rock soil slope 31 section, length 51.43 km,area 1.396km2;soil bank slope 29 section, length 45.65 km,area 1.95km2;artificial bank slope(bank slope treatment project and port engineering combined)8 section, length 10.9km,area 0.5km2.The above four types of bank slopes account for 59.99%,19.07%,19.91% and 4.03% of the total length of the Wushan depression zone respectively, accounting for 51.8%,17.5%,24.5% and 6.2% respectively. The bank slope type, engineering geological rock group, slope, slope direction, the nearest distance to the geological structure line and the structure property of rock mass are statistically analyzed in the Wushan section of the Three Gorges Reservoir area, and the favorable conditions for the occurrence of new geological disasters in the zone are summarized,so as to carry out the easy distribution of geological disasters in the falling zones. The district evaluation provides a way of thinking.According to the results of remote sensing investigation and the geological environment background of Wushan section of the Three Gorges Reservoir area,it is concluded that the landform change mode of the bank Bank of the Wushan section of the Three Gorges Reservoir area is mainly erosion denudation type, dissolution erosion type, collapse type and whole slip type. From the angle of the existing situation and development trend of the topographic change, referring to the two aspects of the development of geological disasters and the erosion of the bank slope of the falling zone,7 indexes are selected to describe the three elements of new geological disasters, deformed geological disasters and bank slope types, which are completed by weighting calculation. The evaluation of the intensity of the terrain change in the reservoir area can be used as an important basis for monitoring and controlling the geological hazards in the area.
