Groundwater is crucial water supply source in plain area of Handan,which has made important contributions to local economic and social development.However,there are some environmental geological problems such as decrease of water level,land subsidence and deterioration of water quality as a result of the excessive exploitation of groundwater,which has widely been paid attention from residents.Therefore,it's very crucial to research groundwater regime in Handan plain area,it is of great significance for the sustainable development and utilization of groundwater resources in the future.In this paper,which has analyzed the development and utilization status,existing problems,the relationship between groundwater recharge,runoff and excretion as well as year and interannual dynamics by collecting and organizing reference materials.in addition,also expounded detailly the hydrogeological conditions of the study area.Meanwhile,established conceptual model of hydrogeology and groundwater flow mathematical model in Handan plain area through understanding of aquifer structure and generalization of boundary conditions,as well as solved by applied the software Visual MODFLOW GIS and Surfer.Based on the observation data of groundwater level from January 2014 to December 2015,the numerical model was identified and validated in two periods.The dynamic changes of groundwater level and the distribution of flow field were analyzed.The simulation results show that the model can reflect the actual situation of the study area and can be used to predict the trend of groundwater dynamic change.Through the analysis of supply and demand of water resources in the study area in 2030,under the current socio-economic development planning goal,by promoting the regional water supply potential,promoting unconventional water use,increasing the water saving irrigation area according to the water saving plan,improving the water use efficiency of canal system.Adjust the planting structure,relying on water-saving technology to improve the utilization rate of industrial water.After the rational allocation of water resources in the study area,the study area in 2030 has reached the balance of supply and demand,but still existed a large gap in dry years,the groundwater may still be overexploited.According to groundwater exploitation plan of the hypothetical study area,the source and sink items are adjusted to forecast the groundwater dynamics in the study area.The results show that the groundwater level of the study area is declining for the next period of time under the assumed mining scheme,between 2015 and 2020,the decline is faster.Plain funnel area is still very obvious,Yongnian,Jize funnel area showing to the southwest,southeast direction of the trend,Feixiang funnel area showing to the central and eastern expansion of the trend,the overall trend of the study area flow did not change much.The average depth of groundwater at the end of 2020 is 29.46 m,and the water level decreased by 3.66 m and the descending rate was 0.732 m/a as compared with the end of 2015.At the end of 2030 compared with 2020,the water level in the study area has declined but the rate of decline has been significantly slowed down,the average annual drop of 0.16m/a,piedmont plain water level in some areas rebounded slightly.
