Time Divided Polarization-Sensitive Optical Coherence Tomography

PS-OCT is a functional OCT,which possesses the advantages of OCT,including high resolution,noninvasiveness and noncontact.PS-OCT not only can obtain intensity images that OCT obtains,but also can acquire polarization properties of sample.In the field of biomedicine,PS-OCT has fairly broad application prospects.In this thesis,a time divided method was used to detect the interference signals of horizontal and vertical polarized light,respectively.Time divided SD-PS-OCT system based on single spectrometer was constructed.This system can provide intensity and birefringence information of tissue.In addition,it can overcome the signal crosstalk introduced by polarization beam splitter between different polarization channels in double spectrometer SD-PS-OCT and the reduction of sensitivity with depth in single spectrometer SD-PS-OCT that the upper and lower part of image are separated.
