With the rapid development of science and technology,3D display technology is also known by more and more people,and its application is more and more widely,including film entertainment,cultural relic's exhibition,medical electronics et,it affects every aspect of human life.Study abroad on the 3D technology started earlier,made a lot of research results;it started lately in China,but with rapid development.In this paper,the concept of light field is introduced into the holographic multi-plane imaging.A 4-D light field contains the natural scene's 3D information.The acquisition process of the holographic imaging is replaced by the acquisition process of the light field,so that the 3D information of the 3D object can be obtained.On the basis of this,the concept of the light field is introduced into the holographic multi-plane 3D imaging technique,the 3D information can be completely obtained by calculating the obtained field information,and light field can be accurately reconstructed by corresponding Optical system for 3D reconstruction.Not only can the technology displaying high-resolution images,but also greatly expanding the depth and the angle of view.Firstly,the basic principle of holographic multi-plane imaging is discussed.Based on the fractional Fourier transform,the improved GS algorithm is studied.The basic idea is applying the amplitude constraint condition on the holographic surface and the imaging surface respectively,so that the phase term is continuously iterated and finally converges to an optimal value,the holographic image can be displayed at any position behind the lens using the algorithm,so that the reconstruction of multi-planar hologram can be realized by using the corresponding fractional Fourier transform optical system.The algorithm is the basis of holographic multi-plane 3D imaging technology.Then,the basic concept of light field and the basic principle of light field imaging are introduced.The optical field can be expressed by a 4-D plenoptic function;and the parametric representation of light field is discussed.Then two kinds of holographic multi-plane 3D imaging technology are discussed.The first one is the technology based on the depth map,which calculates the sub-image by the observation angle and the depth information.The process is simple,but the system structure is complicated.The second technique is the light field calculation imaging.The key of the technique is replacing the holographic image acquisition with the acquisition of the four-dimensional light field,and convert the problem of light field rendering sub-image into the non-negative linear least-squares problems,and the problem can be solved by an iterative convergence method.Finally,a holographic multi-planar 3D imaging optical platform has been constructed to verify the feasibility of holographic multi-plane 3D imaging based on light field calculation.And color holographic multi-plane 3D display is realized basing on the monochromatic holographic multi-plane three-dimensional imaging.
