Breathing is a complex rhythmic activity. The respiratory rhythm of normal person is basically regular.Respiratory rhythms often show various changes at the pathological conditions(eg:Biot's respiration, tidal breathing etc.).Therefore,understanding the dynamic process of neuronal firing activity has important implications on the generation of morbid respiratory rhythm. The electrical activities of neurons depend on the complex electrophysiological conditions in the neuronal system. The fluctuation of intracellular and extracellular ion concentrations causes the change of membrane potential, and the complex distribution of electromagnetic fields.Membrane potential can be adjusted by time-varying electromagnetic fields. Therefore, when the information is transmitted between neurons, the fluctuation of the magnetic current inside the electromagnetic field and the variation of the magnetic flux across the membrane should be considered. The effects of the trans-membrane magnetic flux on the membrane potential can be achieved by adding a memristor to the membrane potential. In this paper, using the method of fast and slow dynamics and bifurcation analysis, with the help of excitatory interneurons in the pre-B(?)tzinger complex,we studied the complex discharge patterns of the pre-B(?)tzinger complex under magnetic flow. The article includes three parts:1.Based on the Butera dynamic model,a modified neuron model containing magnetic flux variables and memristors is given. The bifurcation analysis is used to study the effect of direct current on neuronal discharge.According to the neuronal discharge pattern, the parameter region is divided into five different discharge regions;2.Using the fast and slow dynamics analysis, the bifurcation structures of the model under the influence of direct current are obtained, and the effect of memristor on the transfer of the bifurcation structure is analyzed. The effects of the alternating currents with different amplitudes and frequencies on the dynamic behavior of neurons are studied;3.Using the two-parameter bifurcation analysis, the effects of magnetic current on the neuronal discharge pattern are studied with changing of the potassium conductance.Using a combination of nonlinear dynamics and numerical simulation, the complex discharge patterns of pre-B(?)tzinger complex neurons are studied with the parameters of different external stimuli changed.Studying the influence of magnetic current on the dynamic behavior of pre-B(?)tzinger complex provides the necessary theoretical basis for a better understanding of the reasons of abnormal respiratory rhythm, and provides a valuable view for further understanding the generation mechanism of abnormal respiratory rhythm.
