The Activity Characteristics Research Of The Episodic Rifting In Changchang Depression,Qiongdongnan Basin

Based on the regional tectonic evolution of the South China Sea and structural characters of Qiongdongnan Basin,analysis the tectonic evolution and the relationship with the regional tectonic movement in Changchang depression?Rely on accurate seismic data interpretation,we can confirm the types of sags,clear the features of boundary faults,then preliminarily dividing the main tectonic units?Study the fault system in different layers?their geometry and kinematics features and their distribute regulation,finally we divided the faults into four categories through their different extension and activity period,Through the distribution rule of the four regional unconformities in our study area and basin evolution we can know there are three evolution stages :initial rifting?late rifting?conversion period of rifting and depression?Analysis the activity characteristics of the episodic rifting in Changchang Depression?The research of fault system provides the possibility to study the structural transform zone in our area?Depend on these information we can analysis their different styles and know their significant effect on the sedimentation?Base on all the data above and relevant maps help us to define the types and distribution of traps,eventually predict the favorable regions.
