Shale gas in the mud shale is one of the gas resources existing in the source rock, and its occurrence forms are predominantly free state or adsorption state.Shale gas makes up of the three kinds of unconventional gas with coal bed methane and tight sandstone gas.Shale gas has a history of more than 100 years since found, but its exploration worldwide hasn't had a rapid progress until the 21 st century, with the widely application of the hydraulic fracturing and horizontal well technology,as well as the application of various reservoir evaluation methods. In the present situation, the increasing demand for oil and gas resources make shale gas exploration gradually become a hotspot of China's oil and gas industry in recent years, with the rapid development of China's economy and technology. The engineer laid the first bite of shale gas exploration well——G-Y-Well 1,in the region of GuYuan Seg,LiuPanShan basin,Ningxia,in the middle of 2014,for the exploration of the shale gas potential of the dark mud shale lake facies stratum of Group Ma Dong shan of lower cretaceous. In this paper,to discuss the shale gas' s conditions of enrichment and reservoiring,in the region of of GuYuan Seg,LiuPanShan basin,Ning xia, combining with the development of the theory of shale oil and gas at home and abroad and the present situation of exploration and development, and combining with well logging, mud logging and core test data from G-Y-Well 1.In this article shale gas accumulation conditions in the region are analyzed mainly from four aspects in detail:1)the condition hydrocarbon source rock, contains the organic matter abundance, types and maturity.Through the analysis of field outcrop and core samples by the geochemical test methods,to discusses the material basis for the shale gas accumulation;2)Reservoir conditions, including the permeability of reservoir conditions, mineral characteristics, nanoscale pore fracture analysis,to discusse the necessary conditions for shale gas accumulation;3)the influence comes from the construction—sedimentary facies—thermal evolution of the region,to explore the premise of shale gas accumulation and preservation conditions of the region;4)restraining factor, the analysis based on all enrichment of reservoiring conditions above, list the main factor of restricting shale gas accumulation in the region, and in view of the thermal evolution degree is not enough, the effective thickness and other factors, combined with the American shale gas cases, put forward the countermeasures and solutions.
