Forty percent of the world's reservoir energy comes from carbonate rocks,Carbonate rock playes an important role in the exploration.The study of the oil and gas in carbonate rock exploration is indispensable topic in the exploration.Because of the strong heterogeneity,complex diagenetic process,various properties such as pore structure,the carbonate rocks reservoirs is different from general sand and clay reservoirs.These factors give us great difficulties in the reservoir prediction.In this paper,it predicts the position of the carbonate rock reservoir in the tazhong area,based on the theory of rock physics and pre-stack inversion.First,we studies the common theory of rock physics and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of theftheory.Then,we make the analysises of the theoretical model of the rock physics,learn the influence of porosity,mineral content,pore fluid to rock elastic parameters,draw the layout landscape of rock physics.with the actual work area data,we use crossplot method to identify lithology of reservoir and the sensitivity factors of reservoir.Based on pre-stack inversion data volume,we can get the elastic parameters data volume,and then calculates the sensitivity parameters data volume which are identified fluid.The last predict the carbonate rock reservoir withhe prestack inversion result,geological,well logging data.
