Research On The Expression Of Augmented Reality Electronic Map

With the rapid development of mobile communication technology,network technology,and the extensive application of intelligent terminal and wearable equipment,map location service has played an important role in people's life at all levels.To meet the growing demand for diversification of map service,electronic map has attracted the attention of scholars in integrating with new technology,such as enhancing reality,virtual reality,holographic technology.As a visualization window to the real word with virtual information integration,augmented reality has an advantage in map expression.In recent years,the research on AR was mainly focused on the realization of technology,such as virtual reality integration,display technology,Lacking map expression from the perspective of cartography.Therefore,it is still a problem in effectively and effectively expressing contents of map on AR interface.Based on the analysis of pertinent literature on electronic map display at home and abroad,this thesis researches the application pattern and display of AR electronic map from the view point of theory and practice.The main contents of the thesis are as follows:(1)This research framework about the expression of AR electronic map is proposed based on the summary and analysis of pertinent literature on electronic map and AR at home and abroad.(2)Fundamental theory research on AR electronic map.Frist,the concept of AR electronic map is defined and the features are summarized.Then,the mathematical basis of AR electronic map is studied and this theoretical framework about the expression of AR electronic map is proposed based on cartography theory.(3)Research on the application mode of AR electronic map.Firstly,based on the analysis of AR application scenario,the research into factors,user,scenario environment and equipment,which affect application mode are presented.Then,the application modes of AR electronic map are presented.Moreover,the process of application model about AR electronic map is established.(4)Content expression of AR electronic map.First,the map content is analyzed from map data,map features and map symbol.Then,the methods of suitability expression about AR electronic map are researched from four aspects: color,symbol,layout and information carrying capacity.And the experiments are carried out to verify the map color and load carrying capacity.Furthermore,the content expression of augmented reality electronic map is realized under different application modes.(5)Design and implementation of augmented reality electronic map based on Android platform.Based on the method and principle of content expression on AR electronic map,combining the augmented reality and Mapserver server technology,the AR map platform is designed.Moreover,the effect of AR map is verified.
