Research On Oil-gas Distribution Of Konys & Bektas Oilfields

Konys & Bektas oilfields is located in the same drape anticline of Aryskum depression in South Turgai basin of Kazakhstan.Unit M-0-2 is the principal producers of Bektas oilfield,and unit M-II of lower Cretaceous – Konys oilfield.In this thesis,the stratigraphy,sedimentary,tectonic,seismic and logging data are collected and analyzed,reservoir architecture and properties are summarized,the petroleum accumulation model is discussed.The study area is characterized with a "dual structure model",i.e.the rift in the lower-Jurassic and the depression in upper Jurassic-Cretaceous.Its depositional model can be interpreted as a "dual sedimentary system",namely,the fan delta deposition in the southwest slope(unit M-II)and fluvial deposition away from the slope(unit M-0-2).The main source rocks are found in Aybolin,Doshan,Karagansay and Kumkol formations of Jurassic system,these multiple layers of source rocks provide abundant hydrocarbon.The units M-II and M-0-2 are high quality reservoir,their upper mudstone is served as regional or semi-regional seals.The reservoirs are controlled by stratigraphic,structural and lithological factors.According to the accumulation model of petroleum,the eastern wing of south Konys is expected to find lithological – structure reservoir,while on the southwest slope-stratigraphic– structure reservoir.
