Reservoirs of North Tarim Region are mostly comprised of fractured vugs with outstanding problems with imaging.High density and wide azimuth 3D surveys will be the future development direction.Since the target layer of North Tarim Region is buried very deep,an optimized high density and wide azimuth 3D survey method is needed. This article firstly introduced the current status and development trend of fractured vuggy reservoir research home and abroad, and then analyzed the seismic-geological condition and data characteristics of North Tarim Region and major problems faced by seismic survey, studied the effect of geometry parameters on seismic data by forward modeling method, figured out the optimal acquisition parameters by referring to the data of another high density and full azimuth 3D seismic survey in North Tarim Region, analyzed the test data to find out the improvement through optimizing source and receiver parameters, and finally produced a series of 3D seismic acquisition technology suitable for the fractured vuggy reservoirs of North Tarim Region.
