At present,The use of solar energy and other renewable energy sources is a long term strategy in the context of global freshwater scarcity and energy shortage.But at the same time,The traditional seawater desalination technology is a high energy consuming industries,with fossil fuel supplies are becoming shortage,energy prices soaring,the deterioration of environmental quality.Using a new renewable clean energy for desalination will become an important direction of development.Especially in the remote areas lack of fresh water islands,ships and power supply difficulties,the use of natural solar energy for desalination has profound practical significance.The single stage and three stage concentrated direct heating humidificationdehumidification solar seawater desalination devices are designed respectively in this paper.The construction and operation principle are introduced.In addition,The heat and mass transfer processes inner the devices are analyzed and simulation models of the devices is built based on the energy balance relationship.In order to study the performance of the experimental device,this paper designs different experimental schemes.The fixed temperature experiment,fixed power heating experiment and outdoor experiment under the actual weather were carried out on the single stage experiment equipment.fixed power heating experiment and outdoor experiment were carried out on the three stage experiment equipment.The changes of temperature and water yield in the devices and their causes were analyzed.The performance ratio is calculated and the results show that the performance ratio of the three stage device is improved by 6% compared with that of the single stage experimental device.Finally,based on the energy balance equation,the simulation model of single stage and three stage experimental device is established,and the Matlab language program is compiled.The simulation and experiment results are compared and explained,and the main methods to improve the yield and performance ratio of the experimental device are found.The results show that the deviation between simulation and experiment results are less than 15%,which indicates that the simulation model can be used to predict the performance of the device.
