Guided by the theory of petroleum geology,structural geology and well logging geology,based on seismic datas and well logging datas and previous research results,complete the structural interpretation and horizon tracking in the work area.To study the characteristics of Paleogene formation in kendong area,mainly includes:stratigraphic distribution,structural features,fault,tectonic evolution,types of trap,finally,point out the favorable exploration targets.After the complete the structural interpretation get the bottom structure map,the overall west high east low,the north high south low,the north south structural high point in the Kd14,Kd122 well area location;in the south area of Kendong southeast fault the Shahejie formation developed completely,in the north area of Kendong southeast faults in Paleogene only distributed Ed,Es1,Es3x,Es4,in the middle of boundary is overlap,other boundaries are degraded.the fault direction to north-east and east-west.fault activity was gradually weakened from Es4 period to the Ng period.after the Ng period,three level fault stoped activity,the one or two level fault activity rate is small.in the work area mainly exist five types of extensional structure style.In work area,through the burial history and subsidence history analysis,defined the work area experienced three stages of tectonic movement in total from paleogene to now,the Shahejie period is the rapid deposition rapid subsidence stage,Dongying period is the slow subsidence uplift stage,in the neogene period is the stable sedimentary subsidence stage.according to the characteristics of tectonic evolution,it can be seen from Es3 to present,the extension rate is gradually reduced,the north south extension rate is greater than the east west extension rate.in the work area the types of trap mainly include block traps,anticlinal traps and stratigraphic traps.in combined with accumulation elements and seismic attributes,traps is divided into three categories,ranking of the one and two types of traps in different layers of resources,and then get the key exploration target traps.
