In this paper,we put attention on various defects of quasicrystals. Two classes of typical topological defects conlude dislocation and crack, and, the existence of them has greatly influence on the mechanical behaviour of quasicrystals. Here, the two-dimensional planar quasicrystals with double cracks in elliptical porosity are studied, and the analytical solution of crack problem under given boundary conditions is obtained by applying complex function method-common mapping, and the stress intensity factor is obtained. The analytic and numerical solutions of dislocations and crack in quasicrystals are the center of the static and dynamic elasticity theory,so further research is needed. |
