| The thesis aiming at some problems existing in core-spun textile machinery,such as the discontinuity of the core spun yarn, the labor intensive, as well as theproducts uneven specifications, inconsistent quality problems caused by the differentlevels of core-spun yarns of skilled workers, which comes from an actual need ofenterprises. An alternative ponytail core yarn automatic textile machinery has beenproposed and developed, which intended to solve the bottleneck problem withinstability automatic looms and yarn quality. Main results have been drawn asfollows:1. The overall transmission scheme of the proposed yarn spinning machine hasbeen determined covering gripping, transportation, winding and feed mechanisms.The structures and sizes of the various components of the system have been derivedwith the advantage of simplicity and flexibility than the existing cam-linkagemechanical structure.2. The advantages and disadvantages of friction, vibration, and other types ofpneumatic conveying have been analyzed to achieve automatic gripping ponytailscheme, which involving a horizontal cylinder, vertical cylinder, gripper cylindercoordinated by a control system. According to the characteristic of the proposedlayout, a PLC has been adopted as the main controller for the automatic system.3. The3D model of the core yarn spinning mechanism has been built and motionanalysis has been carried out using Solidworks and COSMOSMotion software. Thesimulation results show that a coordinated movement of mechanical structure withoutinterference has been achieved and the validation of the proposed system has beenverified.4. The PLC based control system has been designed, the hardware platform hasbeen built, and also the PLC software programs have been developed. Testing resultsshow that the control system is more stable and accurate than the previous relay-contactor control system with the advantage of fast speed, high efficiency, which leadto the automation of the spinning machine.The research on the development of China’s textile machinery ponytail core yarnhas a good theoretical significance and practical value. |
