Copper and silver are irreplaceable materials for the national economic construction which widely used in military,electric power,household appliances,communications,the construction industry,transportation and other fields.However, copper and silver resources are in short supply in our country,so the existing resources used efficiently is very important. Wu ping copper-silver poly-metallic ore is selected as the research object.Improving comminution method and optimizing the process flow are researched in the experiment.Mechanism analysis is analyzed from the view of the material properties to analyse the difference of the flotation beneficiation indexes.Disseminated relation between the minerals in the ore is complex,copper and silver are recycling elements,the grade of Cu is 0.24%,the grade of Ag is 89.00g·t-1,the main gangue mineral is quartz.The ore samples used in the test were the conventional crushing ore samples,high pressure roller surface pressure 3.5N/mm2 crushing ore samples,high pressure roller surface pressure 5.5N/mm2 crushing ore samples and high pressure roller grinding ore samples.Through the analysis of the characteristics of crushing products,some conclusions were obtained.Fine fraction content in the high pressure roller mill crushing products is more than the conventional crushing ore samples.There are a large number of micro cracks on the surface of the ore samples which are crushed by high pressure roller mill.The products crushed by high pressure roller mill are easier to be ground,and the subsequent ball mill work efficiency is improved.There is no grinding in the high pressure roller mill grinding system so that there is no interference ions which is produced by grinding process.The particle distribution is very even of the products that are ground by high pressure roller,and also the metal distribution is uniform.The properties of the high pressure roller grinding products is conducive to flotation.Copper-silver bulk flotation conditions were obtained from the flotation condition tests. Through copper-silver bulk flotation closed-circuit test,finally got the beneficiation indexesrhigh pressure roller mill grinding ore samples>high pressure roller surface pressure 3.5N/mm2 crushing-ball-milling ore samples>high pressure roller surface pressure 5.5N/mm2 crushing-ball-milling ore samples>conventional crushing-ball-milling ore samples.The high pressure roller grinding flotation index was the best:recovery rate of Cu is 95.18%, recovery rate of Ag is 95.77%. According to investigate the influence of different comminution style to the flotation index,the same bulk flotation process was taken,and the closed-circuit test result was high pressure roller mill grinding ore samples>high pressure roller surface pressure 3.5N/mm2 crushing-ball-milling ore samples>high pressure roller surface pressure 5.5N/mm2 crushing-ball-milling ore samples>conventional crushing-ball-milling ore samples.After flotation test,the conventional crushing-ball-milling ore samples' copper and silver separation condition was got.The condition was that the regrinding fineness was-0.0385mm content 90%, the collector was Z-200, separation regulators was calcium+zinc combination drug.After copper and silver bulk flotation-copper and silver separation closed-circuit test,the final copper concentrate index was Cu grade 19.08%,Cu recovery 56.73%,Ag grade 4145.50g·t-1,Ag recovery 32.93%; the final silver concentrate index was Ag grade 1067.00g·t-1,Ag recovery 56.73%, Cu grade 1.70%,Cu recovery 33.91%.After flotation test,the high pressure roller grinding ore samples'copper and silver separation condition was got.The condition was that the regrinding fineness was -0.0385mm content 85%, the collector was Z-200, separation regulators was calcium+zinc combination drug.After copper and silver bulk flotation-copper and silver separation closed-circuit test,the final copper concentrate index was Cu grade 19.42%,Cu recovery 53.91%,Ag grade 4456.00g·t-1,Ag recovery 32.99%; the final silver concentrate index was Ag grade 992.85g·t-1,Ag recovery 61.30%,Cu grade 1.76%,Cu recovery 40.74%.Through the comparison of copper and silver bulk flotation-copper and silver separation closed-circuit tests' result,it can be got that the Cu recovery of high pressure roller grinding ore is higher than conventional crushing ore of 4.01%,the Ag recovery of high pressure roller grinding ore is higher than conventional crushing ore of 4.50%.And also,the flotation of high pressure roller grinding ore samples is more efficient.Fitting the particle size distribution curve,metal distribution curve by the method of least squares method.Through the analysis of the size distribution,metal yield of the part of suitable flotation particle size,mineral monomer libration degree of suitable flotation particle size parts,obtains the theory mineral processing index should be that high pressure roller mill grinding ore samples>high pressure roller surface pressure 3.5N/mm2 crushing-ball-milling ore samples>high pressure roller surface pressure 5.5N/mm2 crushing-ball-milling ore samples>conventional crushing-ball-milling ore samples.The theory analysis result is completely in conformity with the test result.Through the experiment and theoretical research,it provides some experimental and theoretical basis for the application of high pressure roller mill in metal mines and the process transformation in Wuping copper-silver poly-metallic ore.
