| Gas is one of the biggest threats in the process of mining, gas sub-sources management is the key technology of gas prevention and control of working face, which is based on the composition of working face’s gas source. Gas emission is the essential basic parameter of face ventilation design, gas extraction and reasonable choice of gas prevention and control, the amount of which not only decides the face’s ventilation modes and the choice of mining and extraction methods but also directly impacts the safety of mine production and economic benefits.This paper proposes a simple analysis way of the face’s gas emission source, called gas daily report method, to analyze the composition of face’s gas emission source. Gas daily report method divides the composition of face’s gas emission source into exploited layer gas emission, adjacent layer gas emission and gob gas emission. Exploited layer gas emission includes coal wall gas and coal falling emission. With lots of measured datas about face’s gas emission collected and organised and the statistic method at different times adopted, gas emission before first weighting of the main roof is regarded as exploited layer gas emission, the increment during stable phase after several cycles of weighting of main roof is regarded as adjacent layer gas emission, and gas emission increment is regarded as gob gas emission before the face’s gas emission becomes obviously damped. Based on this method, the calculated formula of the emission quantity from face’s each gas emission source is got, and with this the gas emission amount from face’s each gas emission source and the proportion are obtained. Compared with sub source gas emission prediction method, this method is more suitable for the face gas source control, and convenient for field operation. Having obvious advantages over other analytic methods, it indicates that it’s feasible to use gas daily report method to analysis the composition of face’s gas source in Qinxin coal mine. |
