With the continuous development of the equipment manufacturing industry, especially the development of high-end CNC machine tools rely on its high reliability, which has put forward higher and higher requirements on the MTBF of CNC machine tools.At present, the maintance of a CNC machine tool after it broken down is judged based on the experience, but the serviceman hardly can reproduce the historical data. Although a lot of historical data is saved in the NC system in the form of log files, people can not see the historical data in visually.Maintenance staff can not find the key point to solve the problem, or it is difficult to find critical information.And it always takes a long time for maintenance engineers to arrive at the scene, which results in lower maintenance efficiency, thereby reduces the utilization of CNC machine tools, and impacts enterprise revenue.Working on the reliability evaluation of CNC machine tools helps to find the weak links,which has an important significance to reliability improvement of CNC machine tools.The traditional methods of reliability evaluation of CNC machine tools requires the operator to focus on the machines when they are runing, and sometimes there happens on missing records of reliability data, making it impossible to get the most realistic reliability evaluation results of CNC machine tools.According to the above requirements, in order to improve the diagnosis efficiency of CNC machine tools and optimize the diagnostic experience,what can naccommodate engineers to assist remote fault diagnosis and maintenance is that completing the visualization and playback of historical data of CNC machine tools. It can increase the applicability of reliability evaluation, reduces the cost of the reliability evaluation through gathering, storaging and analysis of historical data of CNC machine tools and achieving remote reliability evaluation of CNC machine tools.By means of developing on secondary development interface of HNC-8 achieving the acquisition of historical data of CNC machine tools.On the basis of further research, the analysis and playback of NC system logs are achieved, which provides a reference for fault diagnosis and maintenance of CNC machine tools.Finally, statistical analysis was made of the reliability data collected before, the reliability index of CNC machine tools was estimated, and the reliability evaluation of CNC machine tools was done.
