| With the 21 century’s coming, the equipment manufacturing industry is developing vigorously. The traditional processing methods and technological level has been improved and enhanced. The emergence of new mechanical processing method, helping improve the performance of mechanical parts. On the basis of the traditional rolling processing, ultrasonic rolling processing technology is combining with the mechanical vibration of ultrasonic frequency, dealing with the surface of the metal materials by using cold work hardening of metal under normal temperature conditions. Via the surface mechanical processing way, not only can improve the roughness and smoothness of the parts processed, and to a great extent, enhance hardness and corrosion resistance on the surface of the parts, which provides a strong guarantee for working safely and running steadily of mechanical parts during the time of service. Especially for the piston rod processing, comparing with the original way of processing technology, ultrasonic rolling processing simplifys the process and enhances the mechanical properties related to the surface of the piston rod.This paper first introduces the surface Self-Nanocrystalization processing methods and the development of ultrasonic machining. Secondly, through the analysis of key parts of ultrasonic machining system, giving the reader an understanding of the working principle of ultrasonic machining and the corresponding components. At the same time, focus on theoretically analysing and designing of the structure of ultrasonic amplitude transformer, analysing the modal and harmonic response of the amplitude transformer by using finite element analysis software ANSYS, verifying the rationality of theoretical design, and optimizing according to the results, for calculating the magnification coefficient of the step amplitude transformer.Then, this paper discusses the mechanical constitutive model of the finite element model, and determines the constitutive model of ultrasonic rolling processing. Analyzing the impact of ultrasonic rolling processing by using the ABAQUS finite element analysis software, obtaining the deformation effect and its kinetic energy and internal energy curve, thus help the understanding of the mechanism of ultrasonic rolling processing.At last, using 40cr and 45 steel metal materials to do ultrasonic rolling processing experiment by HKUSM30 which is made from Shandong HuaYun mechanical and electrical technology co.,LTD. By changing different processing parameters, the corresponding processing results are obtained, and the surface roughness and hardness of metal materials and related mechanical properties would be tested after processing, in order to obtain test data and results. According to the analysis of experimental results, getting the following conclusion, ultrasonic rolling can improve the corrosion resistance of material. The decrease of the spindle speed and feed can improve the roughness of metal surface after ultrasonic rolling processing. Processing times and static pressure setting also has obvious impact on the rough surface. |
