The heated mandrel winding, which is developed from the internal curing method, has two technological process at the same time. The one is the filament winding process. Another is filament winding process. During the curing process the mold where the steam with temperature and high pressure is injected make winding and curing at the same time. This method make the production of high quality and High molding efficiency. It has been used in petroleum chemical industry,information engineering, biological medical and so on many fields.Composite material shell is curing, temperature distribution on the surface of the mandrel for the curing degree of fiber has important influence, the temperature is closely related with the forming quality of the final shell. Because the pressure value play a part for the temperature distribution on the surface of the mandrel, curing degree has been affected, so the pressure as the role of composite materials in curing process must be considered. what the core mold surface temperature is uniform or not will also affect the quality of composite materials forming. it is also a concern in this paper.In this paper the heated mandrel winding process is introduced. The change of various fields which is consist of Turbulence, vapor phase transformation, solid flow coupling dynamics, heat transfer model and so on are analyzed In the process of winding curing. Due to the different pressures, the flow and heat transfer of steam inside the mandrel are simulated by using the software FLUENT. According to the simulation results of the mandrel surface temperature distribution and situation changes we analyzes the relationship between the vapor pressure of the flow field, temperature and other physical quantities. During the core mold are passed into high temperature and high pressure steam the flow is affected by the resistance and other factors influences,which will make the consumption of energy is missing when the energy reach the end of the mandrel. This situation has reduce the temperature of the tail which had an impact on the forming quality. the hole temperature of the core mold is higher than other position, which leads to make holes in the shell near the fault more easily. We design methods based on Box-Behnken Then, based on this scheme, Fluent numerical simulation was carried out. Setting temperature trace points on mandrel and writing down the temperature value of these trace points, we got the temperature mean square error(MSE) and take MSE values as the response value.By fitting second order response surface equation,using statistical software Minitab to analyze the best position combination. The Fluent simulation is used to verify on the new model according to the best way. the results showed that model predicted values were in good agreements with simulation values, the surface temperature of the core mold mean square error is very small within the scope of permissible error.It prove that the uniformity of the core mold surface temperature is good, it achieves the goal of the optimization.
