Oxidized copper ores in our country have a lot of characteristic.Such as low grade,fine particle size and high content of gangue which make the oxide copper ores dressing a problem of mining industry.In this paper,a copper oxide ore from Tibet has been researched.The oxidation rate of the ore is 84.98%,most of that is free copper oxide malachite and azurite;Additionally,some copper oxide scattered in limonite result in the recovery is difficult to be increased.A lot of argillaceous gangue contained in raw ore which is easy to float,consume a large amount of flotation reagents in the flotation process and reduce the concentrate grade.Sulfuration flotation process has been taken according to the ore properties.A series of condition experiments have been taken to decide the reasonable reagent system and the best experiment conditions,and then conduct the whole process of open circuit experiment and closed circuit experiment.Flotation condition experiment results show that: sodium sulphide has a significant effect on the recovery and grade of copper ores.A lot of sodium sulfide have to be added to guarantee a better flotation result.While adding ammonium sulfate can not obviously improve the flotation condition of the rougher flotation.Based on the principle of sulfuration flotation process,after three rougher flotation three scavenge and two cleaner,under the condition that grinding fineness is 86.35%-0.074 mm,sodium sulfide as activator,CMC used as inhibitor,butyl xanthate uesd as collector,terpineol used as foaming agent,the grade of copper concentration1 is 27.94%,recovery is 41.98%,the grade of copper concentrate2 is 18.52%,the recovery is 32.15%.In total,concentrate copper grade is 22.89%,the recovery is 74.13%.The result of continuous pilot experiments is in conformity with lab experiments.So laboratory flotation process can meet the requirements of continuous pilotexperiment.Under the condition that the raw ore grade of copper is 4.43% gets copper concentrate1:the grade is 27.77%,the recovery is 39.62%,copper concentrate2: the grade is 16.85%,recovery 34.67%.In total,concentrate copper grade is 21.33%,the recovery is 74.29%.
