A supporting type impacting-crushing-rock roadheader designed for solving the underground tunnel hard rock crushing is a new type roadheader that it sets crushing, loading,supporting, transport, walking in one. The pater research content is a part of the contents that I attend of this machine R & D that the tutor undertakes.This paper takes the new type roadheader working mechanism as research object,the three-dimensional solid model of the working mechanism is established by means of Pro/E,operation performance parameters of working mechanism are obtained through the ADAMS virtual prototype simulation and rotation matrix method, which provides a accuracy prototype model for the subsequent simulation.The penetrable force of crushing rock is obtained according to a mechanical model of the impacting hammer,a stress wave synthesis theory and combined with assembly language of Matlab.The finite element analysis, modal analysis, harmonic response analysis and fatigue life analysis of the working mechanism are conducted in two kinds of typical impact using the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench. The stress concentration region and dangerous section of the working mechanism are determined by the finite element analysis, the conclusion confirms that it satisfies the requirements of strength and rigidity.The natural frequency and corresponding vibration mode of the working mechanism are obtained by using modal analysis, the vibration characteristic is found out, Which provides the basis for reasonablely selecting the operation frequency of impact hammer and taking the necessary measures to effectively avoid resonance of the whole working mechanism.The displacement-frequency response curve of the horizontal, vertical and longitudinal direction of four key positions are obtained by using the harmonic response analysis, the maximum displacement response frequency range is determined,which provides favorable basis for solving the vibration problems of working mechanism. The life distribution, the total damage and the fatigue sensitivity curve of the working mechanism are get through the fatigue life analysis, which verifies the reliability life of working mechanism, and puts forward reasonable improvement opinions according to the results of the fatigue analysis. The research and research achievements have the vital significance for improving the design of working mechanism of supporting type impacting-crushing-rock roadheader, improving its working performance, solving the current faced difficulties of rock roadheader and speeding up the mechanization degree of rock roadheader.
