Therefore, the optimum structural design about high torque transmission roller by using the ANSYS, and the volume parameters of the reinforcement ring which have a greater impact on the deformation of the cylinder for structural improvements is extracted。Firstly, structure design high-torque drive drum of belt conveyor is done, which include the structure design of barrel, drum shaft, hub and wheel arm, and the distance of symmetry is calculated。Secondly, Mechanical analysis of drive drum is conducted by ANSYS。 Building model。The reaseon of weld break-down on drive drum is found out。The project of reinforcing ring is presented and analysedThirdly, Structural optimization analysis of drive drum is done, with thickness of drive drum, length and width of reinforcing ring as design variables, with stress of drive drum as state variable, and with weight of drive drum as objective function。Drive drum after optimization meet requirement, and the material and price is declined。Lastly, the deformation of various shapes of reinforcing ring was obtained by using ANSYS。The mathematical relation bewteen between different shapes of reinforcing ring and maximum displacement was fitted by MATLAB。 The structure parameters of optimal reinforcing ring which meet use requirement and makes the deformation minimized is obtained。In summary, structure design large-torque drive drum of belt conveyor is conducted, and structural optimization analysis of drive drum is done by using ANSYS, and structural optimization of reinforcing ring is done by using ANSYS and MATLAB. |
