Taking Xin'an mine 1109 working face as the research background.1109 working face above the surface to Wang Ying Cun, the caving mining, will inevitably lead to serious security threat on the surface building. In order to ensure the safety of buildings on the ground, must be taken to control the movement of the top plate measures. Mine production capacity is small, its production technology and economic ability to the construction of goaf filling system, can only consider the use of strip mining.Determination of strip mining design principles:to ensure the security and the stability of coal pillars surface buildings under the premise, to maximize the recovery of coal resources spring.Through theoretical analysis, in order to meet the nuclear area rate and safety factor, the mining width is 58.5 m, retaining width is 39 m, the recovery rate of this scheme is 52.33%.Numerical simulation and prediction of surface deformation on the theoretical analysis to determine the program verification. Numerical simulation results show that, the stability of coal pillar and compressive ability enough, will not be crushed phenomenon. The expected results of surface deformation, the maximum inclination, horizontal deformation and curvature values did not exceed the national level protection standard of building surface. The mining width58.5 m, with width of 39 m is feasible. The research results can greatly improve the recovery rate of resources in Xin'an coal mine, and the research results in this paper can also be applied to similar mine near the mine, improve the recovery rate of coal has great guiding significance.
