The Pine Pollen-Ganoderma tablet is a kind of liver-protecting health foods which is based on the animal experiment of the Pine Pollen-Ganoderma l compound. Its dosages, parameters for processes, quality inspection and the stability have been emphatically researched. The paper mainly includes the following contents:1. The water content, moisture absorption, angle of repose and the Carr’s index of raw materials have been detected. It has been shown in the results that the moisture absorption ability of the extract of pine pollen and Ganoderma is strong. But the flow-ability is poor. It’s easy to cake if they are compounded without proper trimmings.2. Micro-crystalline Cellulose has been chosen for filler. According to the result of detection for physical and chemical indexes, the starch is smaller in its granule and is poor in compressibility although it is cheaper. The dextrin is easy to cake when mixing with water. The syrup which is 60% of its concentration has been chosen for adhesion agent. Because the results showed that granules made with 50% syrup are small. And granules made with 70% syrup are easy to be hard. Meanwhile, the alcohol is not safe. The disintegrating agent has been given up. Because the results showed that the disintegrating time measure up to the standards without disintegrating agent which can improve the the disintegrating time. The Gum Acacia has been chosen for lubricant. Because the results showed that magnesium stearate can delay the disintegration.3. The formula of the Pine Pollen Ganoderma tablet has been confirmed according to the experiments. After optimization, as the main raw materials, the ratio of the extract of pine pollen is same as its of the extract of Ganoderma lucidum. They are both 10%. The filler is Micro-crystalline Cellulose which accounts for 54%. The adhesion agent is 60% syrup which accounts for 25.5%. The lubricant is Gum Acacia which accounts for 0.5%.4. Two common methods of granulation were compared. One step granulation is high in mechanization. The granules are well-distributed. But the tablets are incomplete. Wet granulation is more suitable for tabletting. Parameters for wet granulation were optimized. Chopping speed is 472 r/min. Agitation speed is 423 r/min. Current speed of adhesion agent is 75 mL/min.5. The detection of physical and chemical indexes: tablet weight variation totally less than ±5%., disintegration time completely less than 15 min, the water content entirely less than 8%, the ash content less than 4%. The detection of heavy metal: lead content less than 0.5 mg/kg, arsenic content less than 0.3 mg/kg, mercury content less than 0.01 mg/kg. The crude polysaccharide content detected by sulfuric acid phenol method is more than 1000 mg/100 g. The detection of microorganism: the total numbers of colony less than 30000 CFU/g, Coliform less than 0.3 MPN/g, ferment group less than 10 CFU/g, Saccharomycetes less than 10 CFU/g, none of pathogenic bacteria detected. The results of stability test showed than the products are qualified because of the stability of the quality.
