Shaft parts is one of the important parts of the machine,which is the most commonly used parts.It occupies an important position in the machinery industry.In safe and reliability,It is import to ensure the machining accuracy of geometry of shaft parts.Non-contact measurement is high and is widely used due to its not scratch artifacts,simple structure,measuring efficiency.The photoelectric receivers of single camera has a narrow measurement range,which can only detect a certain range of the diameter of the shaft.In order to solve this problem,this paper puts forward a double light path light episodic shaft parts detection system.According to imaging principle,the principle of double light path light ceremonies shaft parts detection principle and program Based on shadow casting has been researched.In the system,The shadow of the shaft was captured by CCD cameras,which is formed by LED and cross the optical lenses.Then,the image is processed by series of image processing and data processing algorithms.The diameter of the shaft parts is obtained.The double light path light episodic shaft parts test prototype was developed.The large number of actual measurement experiment has been test.Finally,the measurement accuracy,the repeated measurement precision was been evaluated by the experiment of the shaft which diameter is 19.995 mm,24.001 mm,30.000 mm,36.008 mm,39.992 mm,45.004 mm.The experimental results show that the measuring precision of the instrument diameter is about 1 um,which meets the design requirements.
