Bearing as a kind of important parts in the gear reducer, its running state is directly related to the performance of the whole system. In this paper, based on the reason that a Petrochemical Industries Co bearing can not work normally due to the input shaft of the speed reducer gear and roller bearing inner ring near the end of a serious spalling. This paper calculates the finite element analysis and the life of the spherical roller bearings, so the study has great reference significance for the bearing design, manufacture and installation.In this paper, we first introduce the structure of spherical roller bearings and related contact theory, based on the above theory, using finite element software to establish the finite element model, finding the maximum contact stress finite element results with the results of Hertz error is 8.51%, finite element results of contact size with the results of Hertz error is 2.78%. Finally we analyze the stress of bearing, and using the theory of Lundberg-Palmgren to calculate the life of bearing fatigue life, obtain the service life of the roller bearing under this condition is 28262h;finds out the bearing failure reason and puts forward some suggestions for improvement.To sum up, this paper analyses the load distribution, the finite element simulation and fatigue life problems of the spherical roller bearing, the result has important theoretical significance and engineering application value.
