Energy is still dominated by fossil energy in today's world, the existing conditions of the rich coal, poor oil, rare natural gas in China, determines the dominant role of coal in our country's energy. The high-quality coking coal belongs to the scarce coal, the presence of sulfur restricted the processing and utilization of the coking coal. With the features of penetrability, selective heating and notemperature gradient, microwave has a possession of the advantages of avoiding the characteristic dissociation in desulfuration, rendering its utilization a good prospect.Selection of the PanJiang coking coal as research object, systematic analysis the state of sulfur components of the coal sample, the main research contents and conclusions are as follows:1. With the industrial analysis, elemental analysis, elemental sulfur analysis, mineral analysis and XPS analysis of the PanJiang coal, the analysis shows that the sulfur content of the PanJiang coal was 1.42%, the Sulfur components mainly divided into two parts:inorganic sulfur and organic sulfur, the inorganic sulfur included pyrite sulfur and sulfate, accounted for 54.23% of the total sulfur; The organic sulfur in the coal includes such occurrence forms as thioalcohol, thioether, thiophene, sulphone, sulfoxide, accounted for 45.77% of the total sulfur.2. In the case of no adding additives, adding two kinds of different desulfurization additives, the effect of various factors on the desulfurization efficiency was investigated in order to determine the optimal test scheme. In addition, the desulfurization effect can be improved by using the ultrasonic pretreatment processing the mixture of the coal and the desulfurization assistant under the same test conditions.3. With the industrial analysis, elemental analysis, elemental sulfur analysis and bondability analysis of the coal samples with good test results, the results of industrial analysis and elemental analysis were not different, by comparing with the Panjiang Coal; After microwave irradiation in coal inorganic sulfur and organic sulfur both have few removed without adding desulfurization additives; After microwave irradiation, the inorganic sulfur in coal is almost completely removed, and the part of the organic sulfur is removed in the case of adding desulfurization additives. In addition, the addition of desulfurization additives can reduce the bond of coal, which is not conducive to the coking process.4. With the XPS analysis and FTIR analysis of the coal samples with good test results, the thioalcohol and thioether of the Organic sulfur components were easy removal after microwave irradiation, but the thiophene, sulphone and sulfoxide are difficultly removed; The effect of adding additives is better than that without additives; The sulfuric acid ester compounds have been generated in the addition of Fenton reagent desulfurization test, It may be generated by other types of sulfur compounds which are oxidized.
