Oleic acid is a kind of natural unsaturated fatty acids,in form of glycerol ester exists in some plant and animal oil,oleic acid due to the presence of the double bond.Therefore,not only has the properties of high molecular,also has the nature of some olefin,in industry can be used as pressure-sensitive adhesives,lubricants,increasing plasticizer etc.,can also be used for modification of some inorganic ions and polymer molecules.As a common vegetable oil,oleic acid has the characteristics of green environmental protection,and as a kind of unsaturated fatty acid,oleic acid can improve the performance of the polymer,expanding the scope of the use of polymerization.However,due to the special structure of oleic acid,oleic acid as a monomer of the study,at home and abroad are in a state of less research.And now in the context of the global transgenic soybean high yield technology study with oleic acid instead of the traditional non renewable,to fossil energy as the basic chemical raw materials to synthesis polymer,with good practical and historical significance.This paper mainly with oleic acid as copolymerization monomer with common alpha olefin:acrylic acid,styrene,butyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate butyl of copolymerization,mainly discusses in the polymerization process,temperature,monomer ratio,triggered agent and emulsifier dosage on for prime for the effect of polymerization product performance,and of oleic acid and acrylic acid copolymerization reactivity ratios of experiment and calculation.First,to oleic acid and acrylic acid in high temperature environment in solution polymerization were factors in the synthesis of,through calculation and comparison of the data,found that in the reaction temperature of 135℃,time is 10h,catalyst dosage is 1%of the total mass of raw material,material ratio of 3:2,transforming rate compared with the same period of experimental is higher.Secondly experimental study followed by oleic acid in emulsion polymerization with styrene,butyl acrylate,butyl methacrylate,experimental study it was found in the reaction temperature is 95 DEG C,causing agent dosage is 1%of the total mass of raw material,oleic acid respectively,and styrene material ratio was 3:2,and butyl acrylate material ratio is 2:1,and butyl methacrylate material ratio was 2:1,the conversion rate is relatively high and gel rate is relatively low.Finally,taking oleic acid and acrylic acid as an example,the polymerization rate of polymerization system was discussed,and it was found that the reactivity ratio of oleic acid and acrylic acid copolymer system was rOA =0.3858,rAA=5.4317.
