| Due to its excellent physical properties and application performance, titanium and titanium alloys are widely used in many industries。Titanium tetrachloride is the raw material for production of titanium. During the process for production of titanium tetrachloride, the treatment of the titanium tetrachloride slurry is an important process which restricts the whole process and may impose serious impact on the environment.There is a big gap between the foreign and domestic technique for treatment of titanium tetrachloride slurry. It has been studied carefully and fully in recent years in China and gained large progress.At present, in the titanium tetrachloride slurry treatment technology, double auger slurry dry evaporator treatment recovery four titanium titanium chloride slurry process four chlorination rate of about 50%; the use of new technology of boiling furnace waste heat recovery of titanium chloride evaporation slurry titanium tetrachloride rate of about 87%, with the decline in grade of raw materials, recycling titanium tetrachloride rate, a great influence on the chloride furnace chlorination reaction.A new process was developed in Central South University for production of titanium tetrachloride. The new process was industrialized in Tianjin Botian chemical Co.,LTD and its operation optimization was discussed in this paper. The new process integrates molten salt method, sampling and recycling process and and develops the new technology of titanium tetra chloride mud treatment. Under optimal conditions, The recovery rate ofTi were 95%,which indicated that TiCl4 in the slurry can be recovered effectively by molten salt distillation,solvent could be recovered by distillation and returned to distillation process。After a long time of industrial operation, it achieves good economic benefit and social benefit, reduces waste emissions。... |
