Research on the assessment of ecosystem services is a hot and cutting-edge ecological research, and it has a great significance to regional sustainable development. In recent decades, large-scale human activities caused great damage on ecosystem services, affecting the sustainable development of human society, economy and environment. The quantitative study of ecosystem services can make people be aware of the importance of the natural ecosystem and protect the natural ecosystem effectively. in order to achieve the sustainable utilization of natural resources and sustainable development between environment and economy. At the same time, it can provide a theoretical basis for the management of integrated ecosystem, the maintenance of ecological functions, the value of existence and the mechanism of ecological compensation. In this paper, Shiyang River Basin was taken as the study area, based on remote sensing data, DEM date, meteorological data, soil data, and NPP date and so on, using InVEST model to assess the ecosystem services about ecological environment quality, carbon storage, soil conservation and water supply through the model calibration and data processing in 2000, 2006 and 2014, The results of the study are as follows:(1) High value area of ecosystem services in Shiyang River Basin is mainly located in the middle and upper reaches, at the same time, low value area of each ecosystem services are mainly located in the periphery of the basin downstream of the oasis in the desert and Gobi region. And Jinchang City is a low value center of ecosystem services in Shiyang River Basin.(2) Woodland, grassland and farmland are the main contributors to the research area of ecosystem services, Maintain stability and health of grassland, forests and other natural ecosystems, to exert their regulatory function of the environment, on the ecological environment construction and economic development of the Shiyang River Basin has a very important role.(3) 2000, 2006, 2014, ecosystem services of Shiyang River Basin mainly in the distribution of hot and cold spots, showing “south hot north cold” spatial distribution pattern, Hot spots mainly in the Qilian Mountains and plains oasis in the upper reaches, the cold spot is mainly distributed in the vast majority of middle and lower reaches area.(4) The size of the overall Moran’s I index value of ecosystem services in Shiyang River Basin as follows: carbon stocks>soil conservation>Water Conservation>habitat quality, Spatial types of ecosystems service features to “low-low” type-based in Shiyang River Basin, which are mainly distributed in the middle and lower reaches of the basin in 2000, 2006, 2014.(5) Through the Pearson correlation coefficient quantitative study the relationship between ecosystem services among in Shiyang River Basin, Obtained water supply, soil conservation, habitat quality and carbon storage services existed between them some positive correlation, it has a synergistic relationship in Shiyang River Basin.(6) Be seen from the the distribution of ecosystem services integrated hot spots in Shiyang River Basin, high value items More grid service of study area mainly in the upstream and midstream basin, and analysis of obtained of Shiyang River Basin-wide ecosystem service capacity generally very low, moreover showing significant regional differences.
