Precision forging machine is also called the "radial forging machine", is one of the world's most advanced forging equipment. Precision forging machine have the characteristics pulse forging and multidirectional forging, and the pulse forging have high frequency, speed, each deformation is very small, so as to save the forging after the grinding process, can achieve the process from the blank to finished products directly. The precision forging has many advantages, such as high-quality forgings, high productivity, low consumption of materials, simple technology and equipment, versatile, short manufacturing cycle, high automation and good working conditions. The forging machine is widely used in military, aerospace, railway axles, hard alloy steel forging and forging non-ferrous metals industry.Researching on the 1.6MN Radial machine manufactured by LS Heavy Machinery Co., LTD., the subject is aimed to enhance the equipment level and market competitiveness and fill the gaps in the field of radial forging.According to the characteristics of precision forging machine, this paper focuses on the study design and calculation of the main parameters of the precision forging machine, and influencing factors of the structure parameters on the host kinematic parameters, to explore the precision forging machine working parameter determination method. The main components of the precision forging machine the gear box and the forging box were analyzed and got the reasonable design parameter.After fully demonstrated the precision forging machine with many kinds of the structure forms, according to the characteristics of the requirements of enterprises and all kinds of precision forging machine, Determined the 1,6MN precision forging machine adopts non core axis horizontal mode, the main drive uses the mechanical transmission of the double eccentric structure design. The following analysis of 1.6MN precision forging machine:1. Calculated and analyzed the precision forging machine main design parameters of forging deformation force, hammer motion parameters and deformation work, so as to provide a theoretical basis for the follow-up of the precision forging machine type selection and design.2. Calculated the 1.6MN precision forging machine host hammer position control and forging force feedback, the calculation of the precision forging machine control section is the core calculation, also forging force feedback is calculated to provide data basis for host protection.3. Using the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench to do the finite element strength analysis, modal analysis, dynamic analysis and fatigue life analysis for the key component--forging body of the precision forging machine. The simulation results shows that, forging boxes in structural strength and stiffness, dynamic loading and fatigue life are to meet the requirements, modal analysis also shows that load not excited structural resonance. Therefore, the forging box structure can satisfy the strength conditions, the design of load stiffness and permanent design etc..The 1.6MN forging machine is reliability and advanced. This successful development will save lots of foreign exchange for domestic enterprises and lay a solid foundation of the series development.
